The award-winning Johnson Carolina Series are now available with a tobacco sunburst finish for players looking to add more nostalgia to these pre-war style acoustics.
The Carolinas in tobacco sunburst have a woodsy, vintage hue that harkens back to early 20th century sunburst models. The beautiful new finish will be available on all eight models of Carolina guitars.
Johnson Carolina Series guitars feature fully scalloped forward-x bracing for tonal strength and resonance, a solid Engelmann spruce top, solid or standard African mahogany or East Indian rosewood back and sides, grained ivoroid binding and original abalone/M.O.P. headstock inlays.
These handmade guitars are the ultimate in pre-war style craftsmanship. The all-solid models include a traditional diamond volute and a one-piece mahogany neck.
The Carolina Series are designed by TML designer Greg Rich, with quality control standards set by craftsman Scott Zimmerman.
Johnson Carolina Series acoustics are now available in 000-style and classic dreadnaught, in natural or sunburst.
